About us
How did it start?
We are a family company that was inspired by Brazilian food culture.
Our families created the habit of presenting each other with different types of drinks and food from our cultures, Emirati and Brazilian, every week. With that, at a very inspiring Iftar during Ramadan 2020, we decided that more people should be part of our family tradition.
We discovered that most fruits and foods that are part of Brazilians' daily lives are unknown to Emiratis and vice versa. This made us think how great it would be to showcase Brazilian fruits and foods and mix them with local flavours.
This is how GuArab started. An Emirati family that embraced a Brazilian family as their own, as equals, to grow and share joy and success together.
Our Logo
GuArab is a mixture of the words Guaraná and Arabic.
Guaraná is a fruit native to Brazil, traditionally associated with indigenous Amazonian culture, and widely appreciated for its unique characteristics.
Our brand celebrates cultural richness and diversity, with guarana adorning our logo like an Indigenous headdress over the 'A', while each letter reflects the features of Dubai's iconic architecture.
